Quick Summary

Winz.io is a crypto-friendly online casino and sportsbook that has been operating since 2019–2020. It’s known in the industry for a large game library, a loyalty program with no-wagering bonuses, and fast crypto transactions. However, its licensing structure has changed materially in 2026, which is something most existing reviews haven’t caught up with yet — more on that below.

What Is Winz.io?

Winz.io combines a traditional online casino — slots, live dealer tables, table games — with a sportsbook, built around crypto deposits and withdrawals while still supporting a range of fiat payment methods. Its game catalogue is one of the largest in the crypto-casino niche, and its “WinzUp” loyalty program has been a recurring highlight in player reviews for offering rewards without the wagering requirements that are standard elsewhere in the industry.

Licensing and Safety: A Major Change Worth Knowing About

For most of its history, Winz.io operated under Curaçao licensing — first via Antillephone N.V. (license 8048/JAZ2020-013), later via Dama N.V. under a Curaçao Gaming Control Board license (OGL/2023/174/0082). The vast majority of reviews you’ll find online still cite this Curaçao/Dama N.V. setup, because it was accurate for years.

That has changed. As of the terms and conditions in effect from February 17, 2026, the operator of record is Novatrix SRL, a company incorporated in Costa Rica, and the site’s legal pages no longer reference Curaçao at all. The licenses currently cited are:

• Tobique Gaming Commission, license No. 0000002
• Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, license No. ALSI-202508056-FI2

Why this matters: these jurisdictions are generally considered lighter-touch than the Curaçao framework Winz.io held previously, meaning less regulatory backing if a dispute arises between a player and the casino. Practical takeaways:

1. Don’t rely on older reviews (including many still ranking highly in search results) for licensing details — check the current footer of Winz.io directly before signing up.
2. Confirm that online gambling is legal where you live; Winz.io restricts a long list of countries (see below), and this list has changed alongside the operator change.
3. Treat player-dispute resolution expectations accordingly — a lighter-regulation license typically means the platform’s own reputation and complaint-handling track record matter more than regulatory enforcement.

Registration Process

Signing up takes only a few minutes:

1. Go to the Winz.io homepage and click Sign Up.
2. Enter an email address or phone number and set a password.
3. Confirm you are 18+ and accept the terms.
4. Complete KYC verification — typically required before withdrawals, even though it isn’t always mandatory just to browse or make a first deposit.

Bonuses and Promotions

Winz.io’s standout selling point across reviews is bonuses without wagering requirements, which is unusual for the industry — most competitors attach 30x–50x rollover conditions to similar offers. Promotions that have been reported include:

• A multi-tier welcome package spanning several deposits (reported figures vary widely across review sites — some cite packages “up to $15,000,” others cite smaller BTC-denominated match bonuses, so treat headline numbers with caution until confirmed on-site)
• The WinzUp loyalty program, offering weekly rewards reported around 35% for active players
• Cashback promotions specifically for live dealer and table games
• Periodic “Wheel of Winz”-style spin promotions and tournaments

⚠️ Bonus terms, codes, and amounts change frequently and vary by region — affiliate review sites often carry outdated numbers. Always verify the live offer and its terms directly on Winz.io before opting in.

Game Library

Winz.io boasts a diverse game library that features:

• Slots: Thousands of titles from providers such as Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, and others (the exact provider list shifts over time).
• Live casino: Roulette, blackjack, baccarat, and roughly half a dozen poker tables.
• Table games: Standard casino classics.
• Sportsbook: A secondary offering alongside the casino.
• PvP games: Not currently available on the platform.

Payment Methods

Winz.io was built around cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, and others), which remains its fastest payment route for both deposits and withdrawals. It also supports a number of fiat and e-wallet options depending on region — cards, Skrill, Neteller, Astropay, and similar services have been reported, though fiat processing tends to be slower than crypto.

Restricted Countries

Winz.io does not accept players from a substantial list of countries, which has historically included (subject to change): the United States, the United Kingdom, several EU member states (including France and Spain), Curaçao itself, Ukraine, and others. Because this list shifted alongside the 2026 operator/license change, always check the current restricted-territories list on-site rather than relying on an older review.

Mobile Experience

There is no dedicated native mobile app for iOS or Android. The platform relies on a responsive mobile browser and a Progressive Web App (PWA), which covers most functionality but may feel less polished than a purpose-built app.

Customer Support

Winz.io offers 24/7 support via live chat and email, which reviewers consistently rate as responsive. As with the licensing question, dispute resolution outside the platform itself is weaker under its current lighter-touch licenses, so support quality and the platform’s own track record carry more weight than they would under stricter regulation.

Pros & Cons

• Pros:
  • Very large game library (thousands of titles)
  • No-wagering bonuses — genuinely uncommon in the industry
  • Fast crypto deposits and withdrawals
  • WinzUp loyalty program with ongoing rewards
  • 24/7 live chat support
• Cons:
  • Licensing has changed twice in recent years and is currently under lighter-touch jurisdictions
  • No native mobile app
  • Independent review sites (e.g., Trustpilot) tend to show more mixed feedback than affiliate/partner review sites
  • Some fiat payment methods are slower than crypto
  • Long and shifting list of restricted countries

FAQ

Is Winz.io legal to play at?

That depends entirely on your local laws. Winz.io operates under offshore licenses rather than licenses recognized in most of the EU, UK, or US, so legality is the player’s responsibility to confirm.

Is Winz.io still licensed in Curaçao?

Not as of the terms in effect from February 2026 — the operator and licensing have moved to Novatrix SRL under Tobique Gaming Commission and Comoros (Anjouan) licenses. Older reviews citing Curaçao/Dama N.V. reflect the platform’s prior structure.

Do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?

Yes, in most cases KYC is required before withdrawing funds.

Are there no-deposit bonuses?

Various affiliate sites periodically publish no-deposit spins or bonus codes; availability and terms change often, so confirm directly on Winz.io before assuming a promo is still active.

Is there a native app?

No — Winz.io currently offers browser and PWA access only, with no dedicated iOS/Android app.

A Note on Responsible Gambling

Online casino play carries genuine financial risk and should be treated as entertainment, not a source of income. Winz.io is restricted to players 18 and older. If you find it difficult to control the time or money spent gambling, reach out to a problem-gambling support organization in your country.
