Narrated from Mu'awiyah (R.A) that the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H) said,

"When Allah wills good for a person, He best ows upon him the understanding of Deen"

(The understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith) [Sahih Al-Bukhari 71]

From its inception, education has been predominantly addressed in Islam and to acquire knowledge has been made an obligation for believers. The importance of education has been emphasized repeatedly in the Quran and Hadith; the ultimate sources of guidance for Muslims. Seeking ilm (knowledge) is the path to get closer to Allah and to become stronger in i'man (faith).

Education in Islam is exploring the unknown, discovering new ideas and finding one's own self, and the curriculum of Al-Hasanain is based upon such philosophy. At Al-Hasanain Islamic institute, our curriculum includes all core Islamic subjects covering the three dimensions of educational process as perceived by Islam;

• Ta'dib

(to be cultured, well-mannered)

• Tarbiyah
